| An incredible drag race simulator where you purchase cars, race them, and modify them by buying parts and changing the internal and external look. You can play in 3 modes: Arcade Mode (buy any car and test your racing skills), Tuner Mode (start from scratch and work up from stock car to real drag racer), and Online Mode where you can login to race, chat and showoff your car to other players online. A lot of work and a lot of people went into programming this game and it shows. The number of cars you can choose (from Acura to Volkswagon), the car specs and details, and the customization options is very impressive. When you race, it's just not about pushing the pedal to win. You have to constantly monitor your cars vital statistics - don't push it to far or else you'll blow the engine or worse. Win races to earn credits so you can buy better parts for your car and race against the big boys. Car racing fans rejoice. |
